Verdensballetten will guest Dyvig Badehotel​

Verdensballetten is Denmark's largest classical summer tour featuring both ballet, opera and classical music, and the performance is built in the natural surroundings that the area around Dyvig offers.

A number of the world's greatest and most demanded ballet stars will come to Als, where they, together with selected Scandinavian opera singers and musicians, will give an open-air performance on the stage built in front of Dyvig Badehotel, where the nature and the hotel's iconic building will be the scenery.

Ballerinas and solo dancers from a number of the world's leading companies participate. These are ballet dancers from The Royal Ballet of London, The English National Ballet, Staatsballett Berlin, Den Kgl. Danske Ballet, and other major companies. Among the participating musicians is Niklas Walentin, concertmaster of the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra.

The evening features classical ballet, modern ballet as well as new choreography created especially for this performance, in addition to arias and scenes from the world of opera and classical music with violin and piano. All presented in a light and informal way so that everyone can join in, both people who enjoy ballet and opera, but also those who are experiencing these art forms for the first time.​
